Courtney Steffens
Attorney
Before earning her law degree magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law
School, Courtney spent five years working in Community Corrections, where she
developed a deep understanding of the complex challenges families face. During law
school, she furthered that commitment by working with the Family Legal Advocacy and
Supports Clinic, where she advocated for parents navigating the legal system in the
context of domestic and sexual violence—an experience that strengthened both her
compassion and her resolve to support clients through incredibly difficult seasons of life.
For the past two years, Courtney has worked in the divorce mediation space, helping clients find creative, personalized solutions that work for their unique families. She brings a calm, grounded presence to each case, with the primary goal of making sure every client feels heard, supported, and empowered.
When she’s not in the office, you’ll find Courtney hanging out with her two corgis (who run the house), engaging in spirited college football debates with her husband, or continuing her on-again, off-again relationship with running.
